Meet Wilt

As a gardener, I notice other people's gardens. In July, I can't help but notice: hydrangeas. Other people have Snowball Hydrangeas. We have a 'Noball Hydrangea'. We call him: Wilt. For obvious reasons. I'm sure y'all get it.

Wilt has been here for four years. He's an Endless Summer Hydrangea. Ha!

Every spring, I put on the 'goop' so Wilt will produce the beautiful, bountiful, blue blossoms I envisioned when I bought him.

Every July, Wilt grows big and strong and flowerless.

BUT WAIT! This year, Wilt produced ONE BLOOM, which he neatly laid on the ground so we had to hunt to find it.

So...I took photos to record the event. And here they are. End of story.
